How would this make you feel if I made a special day just for us straight people and out lifestyle and even threw in some parades around the country to flaunt it to everyone?

hey guys I'm not saying that I hate gays, I'm just trying to bring up a new idea to bring to this world and see what others think of it.

As a straight Man I say go for it I love a good Party.
Can I invite my Gay friends since they invited me to there party/parade.
I had a great time as a staight guy with woman date.

Society does not shame and humiliate and persecute and sometimes beat and kill straight people for being straight.
That's why a straight pride parade would be stupid and a Gay pride parade makes sense.
Maybe while you're on that train of thought you should participate in a walk to help people who don't have breast cancer or a day of rememberence for people who weren't killed in the Holocaust.

You are falling into a trap. I'm a married staight white male and I have no problem with a "gay pride" day. Why? Because as a straight white male I have never needed to defend my lifestyle to homosexuals but I know homosexuals who have benn victimized and belittled for their sexual preference. Your perspective demonstrates a sociology 101 fallacy.

I hear you. If we had a straight pride day or White Entertainment Channel or White History month, we would be considered racist. Everyone should be allowed to be proud of their history or sexual orientation without these in your face methods. These groups mentioned have had huge amounts of adversity to overcome but Rosa Parks sat in a seat of her choosing without having to have a March on Washington before doing it.

You know I see no problem with it. I also see no problem with White history month or WET (white entertainment tv) OR gay history month for that matter. The united caucasion college fund. HIspanic college fund? Any are good for me I dont care. Everyone should have thier moment.
Why straight folks are not celebrated is beyond me we need a day dont we. Something just for Us.

I'm not sure I like the idea of taking PRIDE in being straight. Those of us who are straight are just that, straight. We don't need anymore parades DEMONSTRATING sexuality.

Sounds good for me. You could round up some couples that would demonstrate on the park lawn for everybody what it means to be "straight" and how to consumate the act of "being straight sexually." Let me know where the event will be.

It wont work some fool will scream its racist even though we have Gay Pride The black Caucus Negro College, Latino Grammys the list goes on but no White or straight groups. If you want to be labeled racist or homophobic then go for it!
