Many people tell me that i'm a republican or democrat, and I’m not very educated in the matter since i’m still young. This is what I believe on the issues
pro-life, against the death penalty, more government programs for education even if it means higher taxes (will benefit society), against gay marriage, believe that we need to do better on protecting the environment, do not believe that the war was justified, believe that we should shut down the boarders and not give amnesty to illegals, believe in fair trade, not free trade, believe in gun ownership that is supported by the constitution, I believe in worker unions and teacher tenure. I don't believe in price gauging and believe if thats the case, the govt should be involved. Thats to name a few

You are like most Americans with a multiple sets of beliefs. You sound like me a Democrat that votes Republican. Go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/ see what they have to say about each issue don`t make the mistake of letting someone else tell you what they say. You will either agree or disagree.
Vote on what is most important to you and the country. Don`t take a stupid test controlled by a political agenda Web site educate your self.

I don't care what anybody says, I think most people are right in the middle of things. Rep, Dem, is only a denomination, normal people have a little bit of everything, we all share the same ideas and ideals, it's the weirdos who have to come up with the most outrageous concepts based on their dislike and hatred of a certain individual or party. Or some people choose side because of their race or religious beliefs. Just keep your feet on the ground. Peace

That test btw, is a bit rigged (meaning biased) I wouldnt trust it..
It incorrectly tested both me & a demo friend.
Ultimately, I would suggest be a independent, and vote the way you feel... despite views to the contrary, many issues are not party specific... and neither party really will last more than a few more decades as they are now.
Demo's are nowhere near what they were during JFK or FDR.
GOP's are similarly different than past (Reagan like).

Be like me. I vote independent. I vote for the man not the party. If I see something good in a Democrat (not often lately ) I vote for him(or her) If I see someone who I feel will do a good job & he is Republican ,then I vote for them.I do not vote in primerys because I have to declare what party I want, Republican or Democrat. I am niether.I am not a union man Because I belonged to 2 & they did nothing for me but take my dues. I belonged to the United Electrical Workers & they did nothing for me when my company went south, but I still had to pay dues for 11/2 yrs. I also joined the Teamster(6yrs later) & after9 yrs the company sold out to another company & they brought in their own drivers. Agan the union did nothing for me but bill me for my dues for 2 yrs.. So I have no use for a union .(my wife belongs to one)

There are many differences between the political parties so let me just give my opinions. In small town elections it is better to vote in someone who is an independent candidate who does not have any political connections. That means less corruption, and more of a respect for the people. I say go Democrat tho in other elections and vote in the primary which decides which candidate will represent your party and vote for who you want in the general elect. don't just vote for a party.

Einstein said;
"He who joyfully marches to music rank and file, has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would surely suffice. This disgrace to civilization should be done away with at once. Heroism at command, how violently I hate all this, how despicable and ignoble war is; I would rather be torn to shreds than be a part of so base an action. It is my conviction that killing under the cloak of war is nothing but an act of murder."
"In order to form an immaculate member of a flock of sheep one must, above all, be a sheep.
"The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing."
"Peace cannot be kept by force. It can only be achieved by understanding."
"Common sense is the collection of prejudices acquired by age eighteen."
"Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe."
"A human being is a part of a whole, called by us _universe_, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest... a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty."
