That's a difficult question to answer...

From what I can see, or should I say from my pt of view, it looks to me like the cons are very angry. They appear to be angry because they are convinced that libs are trying to take something from them. Or that libs are threatening their way of life at a moral level.

This anger usually comes across aggressive and puts the libs on the defense. This anger also immediately handicaps the conversation because anger and blame blocks having an open-mind.

To me, it is quite simple and I wish cons would just relax and think a minute. All the libs want is an equal and fair society. It's that simple. They just don't want the ones who think they are morally superior telling them how to live their lives, who to vote for, or judging them for speaking out against things they don't like in our great nation.

Anyways, with all that said, until the anger and blame stops (and I don't see it going away anytime soon with all the far right radio host keeping tempers flared) a real conversation discussing the issues is impossible.

You actually have to be open to listening to other ideas and can prove a point .
You can't scream and yell to get your point across .
You have to be some what intelligent and actually know something about the subject your having the conversation about .
Now do you know any Dem's and Reps that could do that ?

because if they weren't constantly fighting, what would they have to talk about? it's all a game with politicians. the best part about this question is that the ansers from some of the reps automatically became negative, immediate attacks on librals. you see, that's how reps argue. like the bully on the playground with nothing intelligent to say, they just insult you with no real argument or debate.

They can. It's when you get to the extremes of both parties that things get out of hand. I consider myself to be a moderate Republican. I'm Pro-Life...but I can understand where the Pro-Choicers are coming from. I just don't agree with them.

When you move to those people on the extremes, they can't even fathom how someone can be differnt than them. A Pro-Choicer doesn't understand how a person can be Pro-Life. An extreme anti-gay person can't understand why someone would CHOOSE to be gay.

It's all in the extremes. I get along fine with my friends and talk politics all the time

It's not a matter of why can't they, it's a matter of why won't they? The different sides in this country have become so polarized that party loyalty seems to have overtaken national loyalty. What is best fro the party or fringe is more important than what is best for the people. If this trend continues we may do damage that cannot be repaired.

both events are sucking as plenty as human beings. The Democrats are abusing minorities by making use of making use of arising them imagine that they truly care about the underpriveleged, together because the Democrats have more advantageous acceptable wealthy human beings than the Republicans. The Republicans decide on those evangelicals because who else are the evangelicals going to vote for? extremely no longer the Democrats. those are in reality loose votes for someone. both events screw their bases in order to get elected and then screw the country over with their greed. i'm no longer a hatemonger, in reality a logician.

As you have discovered by most of the posts that are above me too many people refuse to listen to the other side and can only make comments that degrade and defame the other party instead of having intelligent conversations.

Because Repubs listen to talk radio and watch Fox News, both of which have poisoned political debate in this country.

That sounds more like part of a joke than a question. It's an unsolved mystery.

Some things are best left unsaid...

On this site they can, sometimes. On a public forum such as this one must wade thoroughly through the "garbage can" to find what their looking for.
