i have a felony for robbery i am now 21 and a freshman in college i feel like giving up school because i think with a degree i still wont find a good job with a felony am i right to think this

That puts another barrier in your way, but interestingly, before I got my degree, every job I applied for involved filling in a job application which asked about felonies, the professional jobs I have applied for since have never even asked the question. Another factor is that being in school puts even more time between the commission of the felony and the present, so it could be looked at more as a bad youthful indiscretion, rather than a recent misdeed (assuming you stay out of trouble in the interim).

If the question comes up maybe you could start by getting letters of recommendation from friends and teachers. Make up a folder with a resume and any awards you have etc. Hopefully all this will help when you go look for a job. Don't give up in school, prepare yourself and you will get ahead.
