I really don't think it's necessary at this point. If you ever start to do teaching or have office hours if you become a TA later on at some point you may want to consider it. But even then you really don't have to really dress it up--perhaps a nice shirt with jeans or skirt and a little bit nicer shoes/sandals. I notice in grade schools these days the younger teachers are pretty casual themselves (well, maybe not Juicy Couture!)

If you're there for the education and not out to make an impression, wear whatever enables you to concentrate the best. It's your money that you're losing if you don't get the most out of school.
However, some people find it more effective to focus on what they're learning if they "dress the part." Essentially dressing as one would working in that field. But again, that's up to the individual, and if that helps the studying.
Bottom line...YOU get to decide (provided there's no strict dress code).

I never dress up. I just wear jeans or a juicy velour suit. I need to be comfy when I am learning. I have a boyfriend so I have no one to impress. He already thinks I am cute!

I would dress along your lines. some of the people that come in to school all dressed up came from work and had to be dressed up for work. There are some thought that just dress up. But school isnt something that you have to dress up for. your not at work so enjoy dressing as you want.

Absolutly do not have to dress up to go to school. You are there to better yourself with education and not to be a fashion model. You seem to be smart so make sure you dress comfortable and keep your head in your books. Good luck

dress how you want to dress, and let let others do as they do. School is not a fashion show, but some people like to dress up. Let them.

I think swear what everyone else is wearing. Think for your self, do you feel like dressing comfy or maybe some days you get up feeling hot and you want everyone else to see it. Its all up to you.

thats right, you dont have to impress no one. just because everybody else dress up doesnt mean you have to. be a leader and not a follower. be your own person.
