A long study hall today? What a uh.....interesting question. You actually will have to have a little more than them saying they were going to kill you. When you kill them, you have killed all the evidence. So it's best that they have a weapon or you have a bruises on your neck or something.
The preemptive strike will just be shot down by the judge when he follows the time honored universal law of "Sticks and stones".

It's not murder, it's justifiable homicide if you have a reasonable fear that your assailant presents an immediate threat of grievous bodily harm or death to you or another. The circumstances matter. If you are in bed at night and hear someone open your downstairs window, you get to start busting caps. If you are in a business meeting and you make someone look stupid and they say, "I'll kill you for this." That's probably not an immediate threat.

So is your right to defending yourself , but there's must be some techniques in the law which can say if you are guilty or not if you kill him , i think the most important fact is if that person hits you first , o makes some move with a weapon in hand or something like taht .

IF the person has a weapon, is capable and willing to use it to do what he/she has stated, yes, you can. Yes, Iraq DID have WMDs. Yes, Sodamn Insane was capable and willing to use them. He had, against his own people, Kuwait, and others. He most likely would have used them against Iran, too.

What if they say, maybe I'm going to kill you, maybe I'm not. Would you shoot them anyway? I know I would.

Not if you call yourself a Christian. Very few people really practice what they preach.
