don't leave voicemails
one follow-up note is appropriate
lack of courtesey isn't the reason they don't tell you
that you didn't get the job
--lack of time
--lack of professional skill
are the real reasons
plus, if you don't get a call back w/in five days of the interview
--you aren't going to be hired
try not to worry

Recruiters usually don't call to tell you you didn't get the job. And if they do call you .....you would probably wish they didn't because is very embarassing to take a call from somebody that is telling you that you did NOT get the job. My own experience, you don't want that happening. It's much better receiving a call from a manager asking you if you can start next week....

Too many whiners like you. Try opening a business some day. the last thing you're going to want is some dude or some gal draining your payroll dry and costing you thru the nose in WC insurance premiums, S.S. tax, etc., that is not justifying their huge cost of carrying them. Have you tried to carry someone all week lately? They are looking for winners, not whiners, and the former category are getting increasingly more difficult to find as society continues its moral slide.

You're lucky if anybody calls you. Keep looking for other jobs. Trust me, I've been through a lot of this, and wonder what's wrong with me. Don't take it personally. Just jerks. Good luck!

If they treat you this way, you don't want the job. Imagine how they treat you when you do get the job. If they don't return calls then just move on you didn't get it. They are too scared to confront you and tell you that you didnt get the job.

I'm going through the same thing. It is really frustrating. But then they have a job and really don't care.

They're supposed to call you, and it's unprofessional if they don't. I am a hiring manager and I never do that.

Actually many places specificly say "Do no call human resources to ask about your file." They are mean about it.
