I'm always wondering whether or not I'm giving my daughter enough... also, how much cereal/solid foods were you giving them a day. I know a lot of it goes by weight and height, I'm just looking for some ball park estimates here. Thanks! I forgot since I had my first daughter!

My son is seven months old--and a long boy--I think that's why he eats a lot! Now that he's on solids he drinks formula a lot less then he once did. He eats cereal mixed with applesauce both in the morning and before bed (made with formula instead of water--fed with a spoon). He eats two meals; lunch and dinner. Lunch is normally a stage two vegetable and a sippy with diluted apple juice. Dinner is normally a stage three dinner. He now only has--about 24 oz of formula a day--including the formula mixed in with the cereal. He has about 8 oz of diluted apple juice a day--or water. Hope this helps. Best of luck with your daughter!

My daughter's pediatrician said between 18-24 oz. of breastmilk/formula per day. She had about 5 oz. of cereal for breakfast. About 1 jar of stage 1 baby food (veggies & fruit) at lunch and the same for dinner. She wasn't on stage 2 foods with meat until 9 months.
