I always believe in making a good first impression. And since the courts are considered "honorable, upscale". I think a nice dress,
more of a classic cut, maybe a line, in a neutral colour.
Nothing to flashy like you would wear for a night on the town.
I think a simple dress, maybe with a jacket to go with it,
or a skirt, with sweater and pumps would be perfect.
Don't wear jeans.
Dress like a lady. Look pretty. Look feminine but not fly.
Good luck.
PS you can save this dress for pta meetings, court, wedding
of someone who is prim and proper, and funerals. Never take it out of your closet. Save it for times like this. And don't forget the
pumps and classic, simple jewelry.

Wear a nice clean conservative suit that you will be comfortable in. You will be showing your respect for the court. Color shouldn't matter if its a good color for you. This is a public building.

Something respectful to the institution. A dress that falls below the knees. A pantsuit that doesn't reveal cleavage. Dark colors are fine.

Dress as you would for work, too many people come to court in tee-shirts, shorts and sandals and look like they are going to the beach. Everyone who works in the courts is dressed for business, and you will be more comfortable looking appropriate.

Don't dress like a sl*t or a hoochie.
Wearing too revealing clothes will backfire on you. Wear something like a pant-suit, light colors, nothing too bright and loud, but also nothing too subdue.

Dark colours or muted colours. You should wear sensible clothes, a knee length pencil skirt and jacket always looks smart. Try that with a shite blouse underneath. Good luck.

For a divorce, slacks and a button down collar shirt is appropriate. you can get away with no tie, as it is not a criminall court proceding. Your attorney should have told you this already though. gray and navy are both good colors to wear to court

A nice suit. Skirt or pants. NO JEANS or 'RUNNING SHOES'. Do your best to look presentable. As for colors nothing that is too flashy...try sticking with grays, dark blues, or black. Good Luck.
