Consider this, If yo take a human and put him/her on a desert island and take a tiger out of the jungle and put him in a city who will live longer?

The human will live on the island longer simply because the tiger would be out of his natural habitat.

In your scenerio man (so long as there is food). The tiger would be shot and killed after his first meal. But if they were both on the same desert island the tiger would live longer (unless the man had a gun).
