If love dies, it wasn't love in the first place, but probably lust, or maybe "puppy love" at the best.

However, on a practical level, you should find someone new, commit to the relationship and do your best to make it last your lifetime. I would ask God to help you find the right one for you because He knows what is best for you and what will work.

I asked 3 different women to marry me before my wife (#4) said yes and we have been married 28 years. I still love the others, but they are long gone water under the bridge. I found the one the Lord wanted me to marry and have never regretted it. The others would not have the best one for me, considering what I have been through in my life. Any one of the others could have bailed out and left me high and dry. This one I married didn't. God knows what is the best.

It's hard-it takes time. My first love and I were together for nearly six years, and 2 miscarriages. 7 years later I thought I was done and finally over him. Then I saw him and the sparks and feelings came rushing back. Now I have a daughter with him and we'll always be in easch other's life. The one thing that helped me was keeping busy. It will never go away because first loves always hold a special place.

They say that time heals all wounds...but what about when you're tired of waiting? I would say - get out there and move on! The best way to get over a man is to get under another one. And I don't mean that in a strictly sexual sense - in fact, I don't mean that in a sexual sense at all seeing as how you're probably very young. Do things that make you happy, chill with your friends and avoid anything that may make you think of the person your'e missing. Keep your head up, you'll be just fine.

Do what you are doing, find a hobby.Enjoy life more by traveling or spending time with family and friends.I know it is hard but time and pain will pass and you will be know when you are ready to date again.Do not force it, that would only make you be hurting yourself and the other person.

Take time to heal and keep yourself busy as much as possible. Go hang with friends and avoid listening to any love songs..

Time heals all wounds, and to be honest w/ you I don't remember my first love, if that helps any. Things always get better if they are at there worst.
