India is an agrobased country
about 70% of the population depend on agriculture for their livelihood
some of the problems are
1.small pieces of land owned by the farmers making mechanisation difficult
2.since the irrigation facilities are poor the farmers suffer if the monsoon fails
3.lack of awareness of modern developments
4.illiteracy
5.lack of financial resources
6.lack of governmental support
are but some of the woes of the farmers
