FA Cup Semi Final 1990 - Crystal Palace 4 - Liverpool 3

This has to be the most dramatic match and also the most unforseen result of the season. The match was played at Villa Park and it was the same season Liverpool had beaten Palace 9-0 at Anfield, so everyone was expecting an easy Liverpool win.

Liverpool were 1-0 up at half time, but Palace managed to make the score 2-1 to them. Then Liverpool went 3-2 up until a late Palace equaliser sent the match into extra time. And of all people to score the winner it was Alan Pardew who beat the invincible Reds with a far post header. I had the perfect view of the header and couldn't quite believe it!!! It was like an episode of Roy of the Rovers!

I haven't been to a whole lot of games, but a couple weeks ago, Duke were at Wake Forest, and it went 1-0, 1-1, 1-2, then halftime. A Wake player was sent off in about the 65th minute, and the two teams combined for 4 goals in the last 15 minutes, including a penalty, with Duke winning 4-3. I'm a Wake Forest supporter, but it was still the most exciting game I've seen live, and overall, probably second only to the last FA Cup final.

Leeds United 4 - 5 Liverpool 13th April 1991

Liverpool were 4-0 up after about 20 minutes, and in that first twenty minutes Liverpool played perfect football.

It got scary near the end. 4-1, 4-2, 4-3, 5-3 and then with 2 minutes to go 5-4.

Including matches I've not been to, had to be Champions League Final 2005, Liverpool Vs AC Milan.

Hello friend.
I come from Greece. Well, I support Olympiacos Piraeus, the Greek Champions. Two years ago 2004-05, we were about to qualify for our Very First Time after 8 years on the stage of 16. So I traveled to Liverpool in order to secure the qualification!!! We could qualify with any tie, any win and a 2-1 defeat!!! Rivaldo scored the foul and then Reds needed three goals to qualify. As soon as saw Gerrard, scoring against Nikopolidis, I fall down the guests stand crying and trembling... Can you imagine the trip back to Greece?

F**k me the choices...Liverpool 3-0 Auxerre (2-0 down from the 1st leg), Liverpool 3-3 Man Utd (3-0 down and the last libpool/Utd match in front of the legendary STANDING Spion Kop), Liverpool 4-3 Newcastle (2 years on the bounce), Liverpool 5-4 Alaves Uefa Cup final 2001, Liverpool 3-3 West Ham then penogs to lift the cup. All a pleasure to be at and involved in but the winners gotta be ISTANBUL 2005, 3-0 down to the might of Milan (they don't lose 1 goal leads never mind 3). 40,000 reds and rafa inspire the lads home and our FIFTH European cup means this time it's ours to keep, with a badge of honour proudly displayed on our sleeves for proof.

Senegal vs. Uruguay in 2002 World Cup.
After Fadiga hit the PK, Bouba Diop make two great shots against Uruguay.

But Uruguray came back in the second half with first goal by Morales (point blank), second goal by Forlan (a 30 yard drive), then Recoba tied it with a PK before the game ends.

Also, Australia vs Japan in 2006 world cup
Aussie were trailing by on entering the 84th minutes, then they scored 3 times within the next 7 minutes. Incredible.

Then, Argentina vs. Holland in 1998 world cup. When it was a 1-1 tied and Ariel Ortega was tripped and fouled in Holland's Penalty box. van der Sar came over to ask Ortega to get up. Ortega then headbutt van der Sar on the chin and OK got canceled with Ortega sent out. Next minute (89') Bergkamp received an 60 yard pass perfectly, passed Ayala, and hit the winning goal (all with right foot).

Showing my age with this one. I was 9 years old when my grandad took me to the second leg of the European Fairs Cup final at Highbury. Arsenal where trailing 3-1from the first leg against Anderlecht of Belgium, and no-one gave them a chance of overcoming the defecit. However we played out of our skins and won the second eg at Highbury 3-0. The atmosphere in the ground was unbelievable, and even now, 37 years later, it still sends shivers up my spine. Anyone who was there would have the same memories.

Fulham 4 Hereford 1.....about 1980.

It was voted ITV's match of the season. George Best, Bobby Moore, Rodney Marsh were all in the Fulham team. Even the Hereford goal was a spectacular o.g. header from Ernie Howe.

I was in the South Stand.
