Can someone please help me to get over this addiction?!
There are so many useful things that I could be doing right now.
If anyone spots me here after Friday evening, tell me to get lost and do something meaningful with my life!

gosh, whenever i go on the internet for homework, i end up on yahoo answers, i still havent doen my project in by tomorrow and i have to clean the house, make a cake, wash the dishes, clean out my guinea pig's cage, make enchiladas....and rest from my headache!!! my life is messed up!!!!!!!

Don't worry, sometimes we need to do something excessively for a while to get it out of our system. My kids do it with Hama beads. Some people do it with Suduko. My girlfriend obsesses over Russell Crowe... You want to help people out right now and that's just fine. Life is a series of filling or emptying holes, there is no sense to it, nothing is truly useful, so do whatever makes you happy.

You're not wasting your time. Asking and answering questions is not only fun, it's educational. The people who spend time in front of TV, are waisting time. I hope you don't spend every waking moment at the computer though.

miz the only way is to erase yahoo completely from your comp.you are right it is addictive but is also fun.if you have better things to do then do them dont use this site as an exuse not to.

I ask myself the same question sometimes...but the way I figure it we could be doing a lot worse....
drinking at the bar, dancing on table tops, sleeping with strange men, shopping........................hey I have an idea!
