Throw away and replace...Then next time, rinse immediately after use so nothing hardens inside.

You must mean one of the plastic ones that you are supposed to keep and not the throw away's right? Well, thats a hard one but I would soak it in hot soapy water and then rinse it by letting the water hit the top if the straw and you can see if it goes through and comes out the bottom.
I had a twisty one once and (dont ask why, I was 14) used it to try and drink yogurt through. When I went to clean it obviously it was clogged to I blew through it...I will never forget how bad that made me gag when the stuff came out and I threw that darn straw away never to look back, lol.

If youv`e got false teeth your on a winner ,strident tablets will clean teapots mugs etc so I reckon they`d do Bendy straws

soak it in hot water and clorox for about an hour and then run hot water through it. You have to make sure the clorox water is inside the straw.
