I get so sick of the people who argue that the US is only doing something because of the oil. Do they realize the impact that oil has on our country. Even raising the price by a few cents can have a big impact on the economy (price of goods go up, people then buy less, people now out of work). These are generally the same people who would argue that a political candidate is in favor of business. I have a suggestion for those people: How about we stop all oil shipments into the country and shut down all businesses? What impact do you think that would have on our standard of living or on our society in general?

they ride bikes to work, drink a lot of Starbucks and grow their own vegetables (they cant eat anything that has a face), so they have nothing loose.
