This is all pretty normal. No one can seem to get comfortable their last few weeks of pregnancy.
You can try and induce your labor naturally by having sex in the doggie style position. Sperm is a natural induction agent and the position helps as well.
Good luck, I hope you feel better soon!

Try to distract yourself. I felt like you do when I was at the end of my pregnancy. Turn off the phone so you can't hear people calling to see if you've had the baby, take a warm bath, go to a movie, eat out and enjoy 1. getting to go out and 2. not having to feed anyone but yourself, do a craft or paint a picture about your hopes for being a mother.
The other suggestions given are all good too, especially the one by witch two. The sex suggestions are good too because after the baby you won't get any for six weeks (you probably won't want any for at least four).
If you really, really want to get things going, go get a bottle of castor oil and drink it (it is safe, my midwife and two other midwives I know said it is okay to do). It is super nasty so chase it with orange juice or something but I've yet to meet a natural birther who that didn't work for. It makes you poop out everything in your system so make sure to eat afterwards unless you can get a nutrient IV at the hospital.

At home labor induction. Take long, leasurly walk. Drive down gravel road in truck w.bad suspension. Nipple stimulation. Hop up and down.
If none of that works, call you OBGYN and tell her your head hurts, your eyes feel funny and you think you are seeing things that are not there. These are symptoms of toxemia and if you are convincing enough, she may go ahead and induce labor.
What you also have to realize is that it will end eventully, and babies are so much easier to take care of when they are in the belly.
RElaxe. You type like your paniked. Try putting and extra pillow between your knees and under the belley. Sleep mostly on your right side. And enjoy the fact that you do not have to change any diapers just yet.

First get to your doctor and make sure you're not in labor -- I've heard too many stories of babies born in bath tubs because labor was so mild the mom didn't even know it.
Next, pick up buckets full of red raspberry leaf tea from the grocery store. There is something in raspberry leaves that induces labor. Drink as much of the stuff as you can stand. Also, if you have one of those foot massager bath things, that'll put you in labor right quick because you have pressure points in your feet that will also induce labor. I know this one especially well because I almost put myself in labor using one of those things.
Skip the castor oil, etc.; my sister tried to induce this way and it brought her nothing but grief.
DO NOT allow the docs to let you go one second past 41 weeks. And take someone with you to sit with you through the whole labor and delivery to be your advocate -- some docs think they know everything and don't listen to you.
Good luck!

If you are efaced and dialating the doctor can break your water...call the doctors office and stress how uncomfortable you are, the last thing they want is for you to be mentally and physically stressed. You might get some relief if you get on your hands and knees and rock back and forth, this will make sure the babies back is in position too and should take some of the pressure off the nerve thats bothering you. I was induced both times but it was strictly by breaking my water, no meds.....go for it sweety!

I hope that you go soon, too. I was only three days late with my first and I can relate to the pain when trying to sleep.. I can remember knowing that I had to go to the bathroom but I would lay there as long as I could because I knew that it was going to hurt so bad just to get up and go... I have read that nipple stimulation will help bring on contractions. It makes your body produce the hormones that can help kick start contractions. GOOD LUCK!!

I know how you feel! My first had to be induced, and some doctors go with the "wait two weeks" rule. Others do not - so whine to your doctor s/he may sympathize and be willing to induce earlier, if things don't start moving along more. With my second, I ate pineapple and spicy food like crazy, took Evening Primrose Oil, did lots of baby dancing, and walked the local zoo - and she arrived a week and a half early. I don't know how much it all helped, but it did keep me occupied (-:
Best of Luck to you!

Something like this happened to me when I was pregnant. You may be in labor, and not know it. You should call your doctor and have it checked out. When I was in that situation, my doctor sent me home and told me to try to walk around, even though it hurt. I was in labor that night.

Tell your OB/GYN all this and s/he will probably induce you. Sounds like the stress that your body is going through is enough to go ahead and induce.
