Sheba is a lovely exotic name. I would only caution against it because it's also the name of an expensive moist cat food, and I don't know whether it's a large enough chain to get her made fun of in school.

You can find more exotic names @ Baby Names.com, by searching just under names from a specific area, just for girls, under advanced search. You can choose from Arabic, Armenian, Persian, etc -- lots of unique options. Here's a link:

While Sheba is a beautiful name, it could prove to be detrimental in the future, i.e., Queen of Sheba or the cat food commercial. Remember, kids can be cruel and you don't want a name that will make the child feel hurt or embarrassed. You want to make sure it is a name they will be proud of.

Studies show people are more likely to succeed if they have a name that is easy to pronounce and sounds pleasing to the ear. I believe you can still come up with an exotic name and a name that sticks with your family history and culture that would also be 'more forgiving' in society.

Malika in Swahili means queen - you could even do a dirivitive of this such as Malina, which according to babynames.com means Tower and Soothing.

I like Liliana - pronounced Lily-ah-na and means from the lily. Liliana Celina?

I also like the African name Marali - pronounced Mar-ah-lee and it means essence. How beautiful is that!

Her name could be Celina Sheba since not many people go by their middle names. Sheba could be the name her family calls her. When she's in school and later in her work life, she would go by Celina. Just some thoughts...

Congratulations on your baby sister! ;-)

I think the parents should pick the name not a bunch of strangers. A child's name is one of the few things that a parent gives that a child usually keeps for ever.
