(You would have the opportunity to 'make' new friends if you chose the rich thing, but it would mean you'd lose the ones you've already got!)

Poor with really good, really really rich friends? Sort of a 'have your cake and eat it too' situation.

Nah, I have great mates; poor as the day their mum birthed 'em, but alas, money may come and go but I couldn't buy how fulfilling these friendships have been.

Man that was one prissy answer. They're going to take my bloke card away...

id choose the really poor with lots of good friends coz if they are good friends you will always have support through everything, they would be your rock and help make your character a good one. if ya really rich you would still have problems of some sort, I'magine this "ea tom , can ya come round im in abit of bother?"
"ah no mate I'm out on the piss tonight with some bird"
hardly a rock (good friend)

Well I'm really poor with few friends now, so I would say being really rich.

Money can't do a thing for you when you are bored, want someones opinion, and lonely because you have no friends. So I would choose poor with a lot of good friends.

Definately poor with good friends.
Money doesn't buy happiness - helps with the bills but the more you have the more you spend!
I have some pretty rich relatives who are bloody miserable!

Money does not buy happiness. Relationships enrich your life. I'd much rather be poor with friends. Rich people have commited suicide when they are friendless and feel lonely!

me and my boyfriend are answering this question, I would rather be verry porr with the friends i have already got as money doesn't buy you happiness, it just brings alot of troubles, and getting your self into debt. my boyfriend says , that he would rather not be poor anyway, and who's to say that if he was rich , he wouldn't have any friends, it's not like bill gates hasn't got any friends.

You don't explain "rich". To have lots of good friends would make you rich indeed. Whether you were wealthy or not is a different matter.
