and what model of car available now should you just not go near
i think you should avoid Skoda,Fiat + Smart

Best ever: McLaren F1
Worst ever: ZAZ Tavrija
What would I not go near: any BMW - I don't want people to think I'm a "BMW driver". If pushed for a least favourite model, it would have to be the X3 - hideously ugly, unnecessarily big, just completely lacks any touch of class.

I wouldn't know about best car as each has it's own quirks and is subjective... Like I love chevy corvette z06 and f-350 dullay diesels but I have been around all the cars to know yet
Worst would probably any cheap rattle trap car made.... Ford festivas,aspires, chevolet chevettes, any 3 cyl geo, and most of the stuff from Korea (except apparently Hyundai in the last 5 years or so)...
A car company that will fold and leave the states with no notice (daewoo and yugo ) would be my number 1 vote ...

I don't know about the best, but I know the worst. As an avid Cadillac fan, and former employee, this hurts to say. The worst car ever made was the Cadillac Catera, any year. They put out a recall (actually about 5, but this one in particular) that said,"Concern may result in a walk-home condition." WALK HOME CONDITION?!?!?! What kind of corporate legal mumbo jumbo is THAT!?!?!?!?! Cadillac tried to save money by having the car built in Germany with cheap labor and materials. Sure enough, even the DOOR WELDS COME UNDONE!!! Literally, people's doors were falling off their cars!!! Oh, and don't get me started on the electrical problems they almost ALL suffer from!!

The worst car ever was the Nissan Sunny, now its the new Proton. The best car is the Aston Martin DB9 or Porsche 911 Turbo.

Well I guess the worst make of car would have to be the infamous Pinto, right? Didn't everybody who owned one die or get set on fire or something?
I like regular average cars. I don't need some fancy $200,000 car. I rented a 2006 Nissan Altima and it was great!

The rosaries the best,but in our home land the best would be the the tucker.there were only 50 made in the 40`s and 48 of them still run.the worst would have to be the Ugo .but U.S.A. cars it would have to be escort by ford.

The Yugo was the worst car ever.It was an absolute P.O.S. Deathtrap.
The best (most reliable ) car ever is probably the Honda Prelude.
You just can't hurt those cars.
