Nothing new about that. Notagly the Satmars and others who believe that the Jews will come to Israel only when the Messiah arrives.

George W. Bush and the End Times evangelicals believe that the Jews must congregate in Zion NOW so that Jesus returns for the Rapture. There are 50 million such philosemites in America alone.

Zionism is an obsolete political movement that became invalid in the 1940s when the nation of Israel was created.

There is no Zionist movement any more, just like the American Revolutionary movement became obsolete when the Revolutionary War was over and we formed the US.

Now, many Jews might oppose the fact that Israel was created. But it's a little too late now to do anything about that, short of extended military action to invade and destroy the country.

Zionism is a political movement, and has nothing to do with faith.

Yes many Jews are liberal, and they would kill their own, before going as far as even criticize the true enemy. It is unfortunate, but true. There are, however, Arabs and Muslims that support Israel.

Well yeah dats true.Zionism is only a political movement responsible for the death of millions of innocent jews during the holocost.Jews are kind hearted people and their religion is very similar to islam.Unforunately,israel was made by zionist and not jews .Theodor Hurtzel and Ben Gorion and all these guys are only polticians who used the name "jew" for da sake of killing ppl and creating an israeli state.True jews didnt leave their homelands and they didnt accept the idea of occupying the palestenian land.

A modern "Zionist" is actually every person who believes that the Jewish nation has the right to establish a Jewish state in Israel. C'est tout.

5,671,000 Jews live in the USA and 371,000 Jews live in Canada (the biggest supporters of Israel that donate millions of dollars each year to Israel. Most of them are "Zionist").
2,000,000 Jews in Europe (some are assimilated. Most of the Jews who feel affinity to the Judaism, are "Zionist"- support Israel).
330,000 Jews live in South America (most of them, if not all, are huge supporters of Israel).

Not all Jews support Israel ("anti- Zionists"), of course, and I believe that there are several thousands of Jewish people who oppose Israel's actions politically. Nevertheless, MOST of the Jewish "Anti Zionists" are Ultra religious Jews who oppose Israel religiously (because it "delays the coming of the Messiah"). Being Jewish does not "force" you support Israel, but as things look today (and they are not that different than 100 years ago), no Jewish person is safe. The Jews are persecuted for centuries, and the only answer for that is a Jewish state that protects every Jewish person, like Israel. Many Jews were murdered during the Holocaust, and the only answer for that is a Jewish state that'll ensure that a thing like that will never happen again. MOST of the Jews, the ones who are not blind by their faith and the ones who are not so confident about their existence in their homelands, DO support Israel and care about it.

I'm glad you brought that up. I hate when Jews are blamed for evil Zionist actions. Many of my friends are true Jews and completely disagree with Zionist distortion of their faith.
