Because that was the name when the group started, and most people are too stupid to realize that we've abandoned that concept. They just blame the other side for denying what is "obvious", which in reality means both sides are missing the point.
We would be the Divided States of America, if we didn't have a totalitarian federal government enforcing rules and holding the country together with bribery and economic force.
There is no true representation of the people any more. We have become a system where those with money and power get to make the rules, and those without either find loopholes to survive, or get trampled on.
Maybe it is time for God to just wipe everything from the face of the map by fire and start over. Because nobody seems to have any inclination to fix the problem, and things just keep getting worse

How about we invite all the Americans who hate this place to leave. Perhaps we can pitch in to put them on a boat and send them to the dictatorship of their choice. Or maybe send them to the few communist countries that they defend?
I have read many of his comments. He strikes me as a lawyer. Process must be perfect. He dislikes the way Pres Bush has handled the war. We have not been attacked on American soil, but I guess that does not matter. He believes in the propaganda that the liberals put out there, though I am not sure he is one.
All I can say to him is there is gray area in the world and we need to trust our leaders. We must make sacrifices that may inconvenience us. We are at war and refuse to admit it as a society. We have no business givning terrroists rights as citizens. This insane torture debate is stupid. Terrorists will never follow any rules. They will not respect our captured soliders. Do anything needed to get information out of them. I do not care what liberals, McCain, any other spineless moderate Republican says about it. The UN and the rest of the world can kiss my ***. We have an obligation to defend ourselves and we spend a lot of time talking about our enemy's rights. What the hell is wrong with these people?

It's not anti-American. It sounds like a description of the truth. The USA has become a plutocracy, and that is not the system our founding fathers envisioned. People like you have been fed a load of bull by the wealthy who are entrenched in the government. You're swallowed their crap hook line and sinker.
I am, however, inclined to do something about it. It's time the people get the government back.

I can't speak for anyone else so I have no idea what context this was written in but everyone is entitled to their opinions however true or false your interpretation may be of it. Why start a separate topic for something that belongs in another post? Let the words stand as they are and it will speak for itself.

Since apparently some of the words were too big for you to understand, I'll break it down into simpler words.
Many people yell at each other. Many people don't like each other, and call each other names. We don't get along. We don't work together. We don't even play nice with each other.
If the govt (the big boss) didn't force us to all stay in the same area, then many people would split off and stop working together. Many people and groups have already done this. We don't work together. We don't even play nice with each other.
People who have power tell us to do things, even if we don't want to do them. And they usually don't even ask us if we want to do them. They just tell us to do what they want us to do. That makes many people unhappy. We don't work together. We don't even play nice with each other. We need to either fix it, or stop it.
You prove my point, with every post you make. You can't even understand that I'm trying to tell people to wake up, and reclaim the core values that this country was founded on, before it's too late. Your are so locked into your hate-filled dain-bramaged mindset, that you can't even see how much the country as a whole is suffering or what is happening to people.
And we've already established that I am opposed to the America that you claim to want -- a fascist dictatorship, where we have abandoned the rule of law, and where there is no tolerance of justice. And if we can't save America, and make it healthy again, then maybe euthanasia is the only alternative to endless suffering.
