oxygen based detergent. The pink stuff. Or use diluted chloride water.

There's a cleaner called Capture that will take out anything. It's made by a leading carpet manufacturer. Very inexpensive too. Look for it anywhere they sell carpet. Home Depot, Lowe's, etc.

Hydrogen Peroxide works pretty good. It also takes out blood stains like no other.

my kids do that too its okay i use SA8 solutions all fabric bleach i love this stuff i have used it not only on my clothes but also on my carpet, tile, bathtub, and so on it is my life saver on stains i get it at www.atafolla.qhealthbeauty.com

try using white vinegar - test it first in an area that will not be seen first to make sure it will not discolor your particular type of carpet
