Because that was the name when the group started, and most people are too stupid to realize that we've abandoned that concept. They just blame the other side for denying what is "obvious", which in reality means both sides are missing the point.

We would be the Divided States of America, if we didn't have a totalitarian federal government enforcing rules and holding the country together with bribery and economic force.

There is no true representation of the people any more. We have become a system where those with money and power get to make the rules, and those without either find loopholes to survive, or get trampled on.

Maybe it is time for God to just wipe everything from the face of the map by fire and start over. Because nobody seems to have any inclination to fix the problem, and things just keep getting worse

The wiping off the face of the earth scenario is a little extreme... To see where America is going, you need only read the history of the greatest democracy the world has ever known, The Roman Empire.
The Romans rise through conquest parralells that of the US.They were the most technologically advanced nation in the world with an unrivaled military might. Their rule lasted 1000 yrs. It was finally brought down by a combination of Greed, decadence, and political and military corruption. Sound Familiar? I seriously doubt if the US empire will last 1000 years. There are problems already, and we are barely 200 yrs old. It will not be God that brings us down, it will be some third world country who doesn't appreciate having to pay tribute in the form of Oil, or the fact that we are forcing our fast food industries, and materialistic ideologies down their throats.....

First, I never claimed not to have opinions. If you want to treat having personal opinions as being biased, that's a semantic debate and we've already determined words have no meaning to you.

Second, you still can't seem to get it through any of your multiple avatar's closed-off little brains that I am not a liberal. But, I guess that's a lost cause, because you're going to redefine the word to mean whatever proves your point, regardless of reality.

And we've already established that I am opposed to the America that you claim to want -- a fascist dictatorship, where we have abandoned the rule of law, and where there is no tolerance or justice.

I don't hate America. I oppose what is being done TO America. By you and the people like you who do nothing by spew hatred.

What do you call a government where those with the money make the rules and keeps people is line with socioeconomic controls? FASCIST!!!!! check your dictionary! This Totalitarian Government we now live with goes against ever true american ideal this country was founded on! And no imaginary man is going to come down and fix this ****! Heres an Idea Make Lobbing Illegal, Close The Borders, Destroy or restructure the Electoral College, Establish a government network using all means of communcation (Tv,radio,internet,pony express), Only allow politicans to do ads on this network and allow every single candiate the same amount of time, Make debates necessary!, Elliminate alll political contributions to politicans, all contriuitions go to network maintaince and ellimanting national debt. no personal money can be used by candidate, Make the penaly for political corruption Life in prison with possiblity of the death is extreme cases. WE all know the majority of the people who run this country from the smallest level to the White House are rotten to the core! It has become standard for these people to lie. Right this moment innocent american lives are put in danger for a cheap labor force. Many good people come here but with them come the worst of the worst. why won't Bush go after the worlds most wanted terrorist mastermind,, Osama bin Laden harbored by Pakistan and the Taliban on the Afghanistan border?
Bush says he has to have an invitation to send US troops in to Pakistan to hunt down the #1 most wanted terrorist,, who started the war on terror,,, why?,,,,, how can the war end,, if Bush does not keep the promises he made atop the rubble on 9-11 to kill or capture those responsible.
