Depends on what your symptoms are.

If you are very blocked up and need a decongestant then you'll have to see your doctor to make sure you get a "safe" one. I was told by my Obstetrician Consultant that Vicks Sinex is OK and I used it for my awful hayfever earlier in the summer (I'm now 28 weeks pregnant) but you might want to check with your own doctor before you use it

If its fever and chills then paracetamol is ok in pregnancy. It can also give pain releif to a very sore throat and you can drink hot water with lemon and honey in it. Lemsip should be OK too as thats got Paracetamol - its only Aspirin you need to avoid I think.

Keep warm, get plenty of rest, drink as much as you can (water, fruit juice) and try to eat even if you don't feel hungry - try toast, soup and other easy to eat, warming things. Lots of hot drinks.

If you feel you need something a bit more make sure you see your doctor as only they can tell you whats really going to be safe to take.

May not be a cold...your sinus' could just be giving you heck, that is very common this late in pregnancy. Stick to no meds if possible. Use a cold air humidifier, try sleeping propped up, and use the baby vaporrub. (it is herbal.) I had this with 3 of my pregnancies and it seemed to disappear as soon as the baby was born :) Good luck and congrats!

Baked apple with demerara sugar (or golden granulated) mixed with fresh ground cinnamon (not that stuff u got in the back of the cupboard 3 years old, freshly bought). The cinnamon is the essential ingredient. Olbas oil or eucalyptus to clear sinuses - a drop on a hot radiator, or on hot water to evaporate it.

You can take tylenol, which will probably take the edge off. Vicks Vapo Rub will do wonders as well. You cannot take any type of decongestant, at least that is what they told me. But I'd check with your OB. They can tell you what's safe and what's not. Do remember to drink alot of fluids like Gatorade, something with electrolytes.

I had a nasty cold at the begininng of my pregnancy and I took a Sudafed-like medicine. You should ask your doc, and if it is not so bad, try to tough it out if you can. I hope you feel better. Good luck with your labor and delivery and your new baby!

Lots of orange juice, zinc lozenges, chicken noodle soup, warm lemonade or lemon in tea, and bed rest. Steam helps too. Good Luck, maybe it'll pass soon :)

Keep warm, plenty of rest, lots of water.

There is a honey/lemon lozenge type thing you can buy that is all natural, otherwise try a natural (green) tea sweetened with pure honey.

Sorry, drugs can't help this time.

Rest and lots of fluids...

It's no Myth that Chicken Soup helps too... loosens up the phlegm and mucous, warms you, and gives you additional fluids...

Colds typically only last 3-4 days... if it lasts longer, see your doctor,=.
