They come from the south west region of Italy, and the legs on the right side of their bodies are shorter than the left side. This is so they can walk round hills comfortably.

The male pepperoni is very lazy and if a passing female doesn't feed him he will literally sit until he dies of starvation, however if a passing female feeds him, he immediately springs into action and mates with her. The females make exceedingly good mothers, fighting to the death to protect their young (of which they have between 3 and 8 per litter) but as soon as the young reach 12 weeks she forgets that she ever had young!

Pepperonies are vegetarian and their diet consists mainly of red, green or yellow peppers, if none are available they will eat chili peppers but prefer not to feed these to their young.

Pepperonies don't make very good pets, the females bite and tend to die in captivity, unless you can provide them with a hilly environment to live in. The males can be domesticated, they are too lazy to climb the hills anyway but sometimes refuse to eat. They have never been known to bond with a human though!

This is why the Italians slice them up and put them on Pizza.

they come from the pepperoni tree which originates from Africa, i imported one some years ago, it's growing nicely in my garden, i do however have a problem with the local cats especially at this time of year when the young from the tree are ripe and jumping to the ground and running off in all directions, i do sit and feed them in the evening as they seem to prefer darkness and they emerge from the undergrowth, I've counted about 60 but there's no real way of knowing how many there are as some are extremely shy and have a deep fear of humans and of being eaten, they never come into the house so i don't think they could be house trained but as nocturnal garden pets there wonderful. i have observed all night parties which seem to be held only when there's a full moon, they have a small fire at they bottom of my garden which is unused and left to nature where they roast fairies on a spit and drizzle them with the juices from crushed snails, they link hands and dance around the fire doing some bezar tribal ritual while chanting in a forign language, i have tried to film these occasions but each time i have been spotted and there teams of worriers attack, they've bitten and ripped the camera from my grasp and before i have time to blink it's dismantled and scattered across the garden , i think it's only because i feed them that i have survived. i hope this answers some of your questions, it's nice to no someone out there is interested. Pepperonies actually come from east central Italy, and yes they make perfectly good pets (mine like to hide up my pants leg which is a great conversation starter), although they tend to eat high fatty foods which makes for very short life spans.
when they die, you just slice them up and put them on pizza dough.
and you will always have them with you

cattle at the prompt are not pets. ok a farmer may have delight interior the blood strains of his inventory, yet that's because he/she knows the planning an paintings put in produces the most proper high quality meat. transforming into up on a pink meat farm we in worry-free words had 3 milk cows, all of them had names. We used to ought to coach the hot calves to drink out of a bucket, feed orphan lambs and keep an eye fixed on broody hens so we knew the position they laid their eggs so lets get her and her new chicks right into a coop. We extensively utilized to assist sparkling and groom any of the inventory entered into shows. We loved it even as any of the farm cats had kittens or the operating collie canines had pups. We loved each and every of the animals, yet we knew that finally maximum of them were given offered or killed for food. It change into all section and parcel of the rythm of us of a life. Beulah
