Hope. The trick is to do it so badly they never ask again.

With so many women today working and keeping house, It seems only right for a man to help around the house. There is nothing wrong with a little togetherness when vacuuming, dusting, loading the dishwasher, even making up the bed. The chores get done that much faster, giving both parties time to do his/her own thing.

If your wife doesn't work and you work full time...you shouldn't in my opinion be doing any housework, that's just not right, a days work is enough and you're right, you need R&R after it. If your wife only works part time, you can maybe do a bit, or her parttime job plus the house turns into a full time job for her, however if you both work full time, you should go 50/50 on the housework.

if both partners work then it should be 50/50
if one stays home to watch the kids it should still be 50/50 being a stay at home parent is a full time job and then some (it's not only 8 hrs) so be nice and help around the house -you'll be more of a man if you do:)

Oh no! You didn't just say that! Are you kidding? Do you really feel that it's up to women to do all the housework? We work too you know, we get tired too, but just for your pretty eyes we should just suck it up and do everything while you put your feet up with a can of beer and watch football? That's just so....wrong, get real, pick up a broom and stop whining, women have done all the work for centuries, it's not like you're treated like Cinderella or anything.

Do you contribute in making a mess in the house?
Do you eat off plates, knives, forks, drink out of cups?
Do you make rubbish?
If the answer to any of these above is yes, then you should help in doing the housework, sorry hon.
Then again, in my experience i don't know why we insist they do do it, because they do it badly on purpose so we have to redo it anyway!!!!

Dont be selfish... not because she is a house wife gives u men the right to burden her with evrything. I dont see anything wrong with helping out ur wife. gosh!!
If u so want rest then hire a damm house maid to do all the work, in that way u both could rest at the same time..... Moron

Its not about the work.. Its about you caring enough to take off some of her burden. so when you sit and watch tv while she is sweating it out in the kitchen it makes her feel un-cared for..
wives/gf of men who share housework/chores feel more secure and comforted and it leads to them responding better to your needs.
this benefits the relationship in the long run..
Even if you dont actually intend to do any work, when you see her busy, ask her if she needs any help.. that way she ll know that you care about her and also you just might get away with some easy work.. rather than waiting for her to pull you up and giving you some heavy duty work..

because men think that just because they have a job that thats all they should have to do. men SHOULD help with the house work, women arnt your slaves nor are we your maids. women have several jobs and we usaually have to go it all alone, if you think its so EASY being a housewife and mother, try taking her place for a week with NO HELP from her. and that doesnt count the housewives and mothers who hold jobs outside the home. try walking in her shoes before you think her jobs are so easy. a man thinks when he gets home, he can lay on the coach, drink a beer and watch t.v. but a womans job is NEVER done !!! when do we get to rest??

If you need so much rest how come you're always ready for sex? We need some rest too. I'm guessing you have moved straight out of mummy's home into little wifey's and have never lived solo - otherwise you would know how much labour is involved. More fool your wife for taking on a man who is ignorant of such things.

OMG are you serious?? As a mother I run after my kid all day, do the laundry, dishes, all of the cleaning. do the errands, dry cleaning, market, make dinner, find time to read to my daughter, give her a bath, bathe myself, and still work 9 hours a day.. I wake up at 3 am and go to bed at 9pm. What is taking out the trash to that? Hell I'll trade you my day for yours
