Not to take anything away from U of M but I didn't think they ever should have been ranked that high. Top ten maybe.

They haven't played anyone good till they got smoked by Big Blue. They damn near lost to GT & beat Penn State, a team that graduated 10 out of 11 starters on "D" & almost their entire starting "O" from last year. They're barely a top 20 team, but the polls won't allow their big money maker slip that low. It's bad for business.

Dunno...The Fighting Irish got a lot of hype in the pre-season, and they looked really good against Penn State, but #2? Seems like a bit of a stretch. But hey, since I'm a dyed-in-the-wolverine U of M fan I was happy to see Brady Quinn handed his lunch on Saturday...

Notre Dame's always overrated, so there shouldn't have been a surprise.

I have nothing against them but yes they were!! They have a good backfield and WR's but the line is suspect and the D sux!!
