No, mechanical breakdowns DO happen - even to Fire trucks! If such a thing happened, the firefighter responsible for communications on the truck would notify their dispatch immediately, and another truck would be sent to respond ASAP.

Hope this didn't happen to you...if this is just a nutty question, its a good one!

One way or another you'd get to see all those young (and older) good lookin' firefighters...our heroes!

Depends on what they were coming over for.

They should dispatch a second truck.

If that breaks down, move closer to the fire house.
