They are rioting and burning chrches in protect for being called violent and non-peace loving. There is a big irony in all of this....
I like the West's response to the cartoon contest held by Iranians... which was none what so ever.

I don't think the Pope should apologize. First, the person he quoted was going to be killed by the Muslims of that day.Secondly since when do the Muslim's have control over peoples free speech. What they say and do to christians in their society is barbaric. I know it is the radical Muslims, not all Muslims that are this way. But when are the non radical Muslims speak out against those that are the terrorists among their religion. You cannnot get an apology from people that can't tell the truth..

Want in one hand and spit in the other?
There were apologies given by moderate Muslim groups after 9/11. Can't lump them all together.
Did read an interesting piece online today that, all said and done, the Pope may have sparked the Age of Enlightenment in the religion of Islam.

That footage was so old. I want an apology from the 5 dancing Israeli Mossad agents that were here on our own soil video taping PRIOR to the attack and started dancing around when the first plane hit. Hmmm they must have been psychic. They were only arrested because some lady saw them and called the cops to say a bunch of "Arab looking men" were celebrating the attacks. Then they were released without charges. Fishy.

We don't need their apology, we need them to leave us alone. I am a Christian Latin Catholic belong to the pope as well, and I must admit that I was very surprised that my pope unintentionally insulted Islam. We, as Christians must realize, including the pope and our President that Fanatic Muslims are watching us just to make the wrong move or say a word that can offend their religion. Yes, I agree by saying "Screw Muslims", but we must be careful. Fanatic Muslims (not all) by nature are insecure and brainwashed at early age. It is not our position to change the radicalism from their soul. However, It is our position to avoid anything can affect their insecurity, and consequently can negatively charge up those radical elements in their zealous mind.

Oh shut up
Someone asked why all the American bashing on Y! Answers. It's when a load of moronic opinions appear like the ones here, predominantly from Americans. It makes non-Americans think this is how stupid all Americans are.
Who is this 'we'? What does the Pope have to do with the victims of 9/11? Weren't some of the victims of 9/11 muslims?
The Pope is the Pope. Muslims are not a single entity. There is no 'us' vs 'them'.

Religion and fanaticism run close to each other. One wrong does not justify another. I think we should just forget about the pissing contest and move on. This is a 2000 year old problem that runs deep and it does not seem to be going away anytime soon.

Have one? No, they were happy it happened. Want one? I guess so. But the Pope shouldn't apologize for a true statement portraying Islam as a religion tainted by violence. It has been historically and continues so today.
