Horse Racing, Motor Racing and Golf.
There have been professional female entries in many top horse races, there is a lady in Nascar I believe and MIchelle Wie has recently competed in a PGA event with the men.
On a physical level though there are many more where given the opportunity they wouldn't be disadvantaged, diving, snooker, pool, chess, shooting and the list could go on much further

They don't seem to be able to even in sports where there doesn't appear to be a reason why they should be inferior. It may be that it is still frowned upon by some for women to be identified with sports like darts or snooker, so this holds them back with only a relative few trying compared to the number of blokes. Gary Kasparov was always dismissive of women in Chess, claiming that they lacked the killer instinct and stamina required. This has proved true, they have separate championships and, as far as I know, only one has been able cope to any degree amongst the men.

Depends on the sport. Men are genetically superior to women in terms of overall strength and muscle mass which puts most women at a biological disadvantage if they were to compete together.
However, there are competitions where women can succeed or at least the least compete together:
archery, chess, co-ed naked volleyball (do you think the men will really be able to concentrate amongst the bounciness?)

I would say no for most sports...but there are certainly some sports in which they could compete on equal footing.....table tennis, equestrian sports, nascar, ice skating, some skiing perhaps and bowling.
In regards to gymnastics....NO b/c they compete in seperate events. While they both have a floor exersize....they (men) just have more muscle and can propel themselves higher and farther. Same would be with the horse.
As far as bars.....different style( uneven v parallel) and using different muscles....men use (and have) more upper body strength(like with the p. horse)...also same with the rings.

I'm sure they could compete on the same level as men in Snooker or darts. How come they don't seem to play these sports professionally?

In general the answer is no. There are too many physical differences that result in men being stronger.
Sports that they can compete equally would be Table Tennis, Bowling, Darts

Depends on the definition of sport.
Bowling is one sport I think men and women could compete equally
If you consider horse racing and auto racing sport then I think those would work
Table tennis also
Maybe softball
