Silverlink Trains (National Rail) from Watford Junction to Lodnon Euston. Northern Line on the Underground from Eustion to Leicester Square. Walk from there.

Depending on which bit of Soho you want to get to, Tube stations Oxford Circus is situated At the North West corner of Soho Tottenham Court Road St the N.E. corner, Picadilly Circus the S.W. and Leicester Sq the the S.E. Watford to London there is a perfectly good Overground train which takes you into Kings Cross I think and you can get on to the "tube" from there.

From Watford high street, bus stop T, take the bus 142 or 258 towards Junction Interchange as far as Gartlett road, then take bus 142 towards Brent Cross shopping centre as far as Burnt Oak / Prince of Wales, then walk the very short distance to Burnt Oak station and take bus 302, to Kensal Rise station. Change there for bus number 6 towards Aldwych :D (£3.50 for on day bus pass or £3 on Oyster)
