I notice when I'm using Morpheus, music from one of my folders are being uploading to the site, I guess for others to download. I'm trying to figure out if these uploads are coming from "My Shared Folder" or from the Morpheus downloads. My concern is because there are songs from my computer that I do not want to share. Please tell me where I should store this music. Help

First of all, get rid of file sharing software. You are inviting viruses, hackers and other types of malware on your computer.
Second, keep your antivirus updated and use a firewall.

Once you installed your P2P like Morpheus, it will ask where you want to put your shared folder, mine I put it on c drive. Most probably your "My Shared Folder" is in: (1) C drive, (2) in my documents folder, (3) lastly in program files/morpheus folder.
If you cannot find, then if you know the song which you just downloaded, press Win-F (find files), then search the song and you will know where it was saved...
Once you have a P2P, better armed yourself against viruses and intruder, install antivirus like ANTIVIR and firewall like ZONE ALARM. Also, when you're not using Morpheus remove it from the system tray.

should be able to go to options and set so u dont have to share files or make another folder (anywhere u want it---whatever u want to name it ) and as soon as the files u want download move them to that folder if it says cant do that then shut down prog and move the files then restart it....but dont think i would even use that particular prog, u can get bearshare at downloads.com has lots of options and u also can look at a files bizti ticket(tells if has virus or other users opinion of that file) by right clicking on the file u want to download...b4 u download it...hope this helps....

Check the preferences and make sure only the shared folder is being shared, not the whole hard drive.

Just simply move them to any folder you like.

get rid of morpheus and use limewire you'll be much more happier coz its much faster.
