I know there is a video, but I highly doubt that the family is releasing something like that. The camera man was a close friend. The stingray was just protecting itself, it didn't know that Steve Irwin was just admiring it's beauty and doing a documentary. What actually killed him was when he pulled the barb out of his chest (survival instinct), he might have survived if it was left in place until he could get surgical help. And no your not a sicko for wanting to see something like that. It's more out of curiosity than being gruesome. Plus the cameraman stopped filming when he saw what was happening so I'm not sure what people are saying they see in a video. Maybe the before shots of him in water with them.

I would not think it is out bc they are still investing gating it. The animal planet and discovery channel already said it will not be realsead. A stingray would do that becasue according to the people that were there A shark came into the area and steve was just in the way when the sting ray went into his defensevive mode. But they did say the video will not be realsead.

There was only one video of the event and the Australian police have it. According to the film makers that video will be destroyed once the investigation is over.
I'm not sure what your brother saw, but I saw many links on Yahoo claiming to be videos of Steve Irwin's death. I personally would not want to see someone die.

His death was filmed but it shall never be shown to the public. Steve Irwin always requested that if he was ever in serious danger they would still keep the camera's rolling. Your lil brother is just telling lies.

Steve provoked the Stingray. I've seen him taunt and tease animals on many TV occasions. It finally caught up with him. You can only mess with Mother Nature for so long until she shows you who's boss.
I think the media should be able to broadcast the video. It could save people's lives by showing them to NOT screw with a Stingray, otherwise you will end up like Steve. Everybody loved the guy, including me, but he basically showed people that is was OK to play with dangerous animals.
He reminds me of that guy and his girlfriend that lived in Alaska with Grizzly bears. They thought they could be all palsy-walsy with the bears. Guess again.
Or Sigmund and Freud, "Gee, I'll let a full grown white tiger lick my face!" Lick turns to nibble, then to "CHOMP!!".
Dumb @$$es. All of 'em.
We watch worse things in horror movies like 'Alien' or 'Jaws'. America is not too squeemish to see the video. It will send a useful message, "Don't tease Stingrays, or this will happen!"

I think , You know what your asking is wrong,
OR else you would NOT have justified your answer with : I'm not a sicko: .
He did not watch it, because it is in Australia, It will not be released and it is going to be destroyed according to his manager, Joe stainton,
Grow up, This is a tragedy, not means for your entertainment

If he had a camera rolling for ever show one must have caught the horrible event but I don't think some networks would want to be showing something like that over and over and it's mostly out of respect for his family, friends and fans!!!!!!!!!

I think it's sick to watch him die. You're a sicko! Why would you want to watch disgusting happen to someone you adore or admire. I rather remember him as who he was on TV.
