I like the names. That's wrong of your ex-boyfriend to rape you and get you pregnant. He should be in jail. I agree with others, TMI IMO.

Congrats!! Both names are very fitting for a boy or girl, I do have a friend that named her daughter Diamond and she gets picked on in school. If the "biological" father want's nothing to do with your child...then have him sign over ALL rights!! (Destini & Paradise are also good girl names) Good luck!

You have lots more pressing issues than choosing names. So the answer to your real question is: go with the man you can trust and depend on. You know what they say--anyone can be a father, but it takes a real man to be a dad.

why not use your lastname? or are you and your current boyfriend planning on staying together forever and possibly get married? Your last name will do.
Oh, and th names are cute. Diamond, a realatively nice name, still seems kind of skanky if u ask me. Its like ur making it easier for ur daughter to become a stripper

excuse me but what the helck kind of names are those?
If you're going to give the child a name, give it a name that people can actually spell, and one that isn't a word.
My mom's name is Dawn and she hates it. Her sister name is Valeri (yes with no "e") and no one can spell it.
Yes, the last name thing is fine.

Personally I think when you use names to honor someone it's because you want them remembered daily. Don't honor someone who doesn't want to be a part of your life or the baby's! He won't know what he's missing out on, and one day he'll grow up and regret that he missed it and then HE can explain why he wasn't around, but honestly, don't honor someone who doesn't want it.
