Hy

First of all the two operations ahve different results:

1. copy+paste will result in making a copy of the file in another location
2. cut+paste will result in moving the file to another location

So u have to think of what u want to do with the file.
If I ever want to move a file to another location i prefer to copy the file there and delete it afterwards, because if for some reason u get an error while u cut+paste a file ... the file might get deleted or corrupted. it`s risky. Why don`t u use a file management software like Total Commander ??? It`s easyer to copy or move files around your hard drive.

Hope this helped

If you want to know the efficiency then I would say both are equally efficient. But you should adopt copy and paste in this case there will not be any risk of losing the original matter,

They are both as efficient as the other. If you want to move the info, cut & paste. If you want to copy & keep the orig & put a copy somewhere else, the copy & paste is the best.

Easy, highlight, press Control and C to copy hit delete to delete the selection then Control and V to paste elsewhere.

Well, Copy and paste will leave the original in place, while cut and paste removes the original, sooo, if you need to go back to it, you'll have to redo it...

copy paste leaves the original document but cut copy doesn't

copy and paste, because if we go wrong we can just use this option again as redo may not be used for quite a number of times.

To keep it short and sweet i would say, "Cut - Paste" is better, unless you want to reatain the original place.

copy.
if you cut. and loose it,
you've lost it permanantly.
use copy instead. then after a success, you can go back and delete it
