Yes, three times.
Once for an emergency hysterectomy. ( Both tubes burst at the same time...tubal pregnancy in one, and tumor in the other ). And twice for asthma attacks.
Oh, and one other time, after I had broken my back, I OD'd on my meds. I kept taking my pain meds every time I woke up, not realizing that I was waking up every few hours. ( it felt like I had been asleep all night !) My sons had to take everything away from me to keep me on schedule !

once after being in a car crash with my sister.
my sister was put on the stretcher (cause she hurt her back and neck) and I sat on the bench next to her - I had head and wrist lacerations (I broke the windshield with my head!) and was bleeding profusely.
That was the last time I ever rode in a car without wearing a seatbelt. (1978)

Just once, thank goodness. Back in 2002 when I completely totalled my Dodge Neon against a tree.
