On my boyfriends softball team there are 12 other guys and some of them are nice and I say hi to them or just talk to them about softball or whatever and their wives start giving me glares and saying mean stuff about to their husbands...I try talking to the wives too like saying hey...or talking about the game...or even anything else...but they're all pretty set on being mean because of me talking to their husbands...it's stupid because my boyfriend is on the same freaking team....oh well anyone got any idea on another way I could possibly change their mind while not having to give up friendship with the guys?

I played softball for 35 yrs. My wife & I have seen it many times & know what you are going thru. These women are nothing but insecure about their own relationships. They are jealous of you because you are still single & you don't have children to distract you from the games. You don't miss the big plays in the game because you can watch without distraction. You get attention from others because you must have a good personality. Something they only wish they had. Clicky women are the worst lifeform I know. All I can say is ignore them and don't let it bug you or let them think it bugs you. Stay the way you are, never try to be something you are not.

Everyone has different ways of handling situations. I personally like the up front approach. Next game ask them straight up "is the reason you are rude to me because I converse with your husbands?" In my experience most people don't expect others to be so blunt and you will probably get 1 of 2 reactions. Either hearing this out loud will shed some light on how ridiculous that is and they might offer an apology or they'll roll there eyes and continue to be rude. If the latter happens however, at least they will know their bitchiness doesn't intimidate you! Good Luck

Unfortunately it sounds like some how the other wives have gotten the impression that your doing more than just being friendly to some of their husbands. I suspect one of the single guys made some stupid remark in front of some of them about your talking to their husbands and thought it was funny to tease them. The best thing you can do is just be you and let time sort things out. The more they see you having a good relationship with your husband the more they will relax and realize your not interested in their husbands.

Obviously, these women see you as a threat. Are you younger than they are? Just try over and over being nice to them... and try not to be too flirty with the guys. It's ok to be friends with the guys as long as you're not too flirty... wives really don't like that. And hey, let's face the ugly truth here: Some women are just that insecure in their marriage and themselves. There's nothing that you'll be able to do to stop the dirty looks from those women...

Girlie don't you know that it is a respect thing. Put yourself in the wives shoes and feel their emotions of it. And besides you need to at least try and make friendships or even just being acquaintances with these females. Like i said it is all about respect if you walk up and find some female joking or even flirting with your man ask yourself the same question,"how well would i take that?" Just ask the women to join you to speak with them about the situation and tell them that you respect their relationship and that you would like to call truce and make amends of the situation. if not, it will get ugly.

Make sure they know how serious your relationship with your man is! Give him a big kiss when their standing close by, flirt more with your man. Don't not stop talking with the guys, just because their wives are jealous doesn't mean you have to stop talking to them. And when the ladies show up, compliment them on their atire or something really nice. That really pisses them off, maybe one day they will come around! Good Luck!

You cant be everybodys friend! Only in a perfect world. SO you decide what is best for you. Frienship with guys or friendship with girls. You have a man so who cares about getting the acceptance of these other guys. If you are looking for friends, especially in a setting of married people, then stick to the wifes cause you are a female. Usually this is the way to do it in a married setting. Its called healthy boundaries dear. :)

Maybe you want to lean more towards the wives and talk to them instead of chatting up the boys more. Its not that their jealous but you have heard those stories about those women talking and showing interest their husbands, woman are just suspicious.
I guess they are just wondering what the deal is with you and the guys seeing how if you had questions talk to your boyfriend about it. I know its inniocent but just becareful about the amount of time you are spending witht these guys, would you like wives, girlfriends chattin gup your boyfriend?

F*ck 'em ... !
They're acting like b*tches ... cause they probably are b*tches ... !
Have fun with your boyfriend, watch the games, talk to whoever you want ... it's just softball and their wives should be a little bit more understanding ... you must be prettier & younger then all of them .. lol .. !
