If Zidane hadn't retired this would be an easy question. Since he did I am going to go with Ronaldinho but the question who is the best in the world right now and considering Zidane did just recently play in the world cup I recon he could still get my vote.

You might know by now that Pele is considered the best footballer of all time, after all of his achievements for the Brazilian team (3 World Cups, I think), and an outstanding club career.
As for footballers still playing, I would say either Ronaldinho or Totti. Both are fantastic midfielders, but I also like Totti a little more for being Italian and being the "Prince" of Italian football. =)

This question is not regarding the best "funny" looking footballer, or the best looking footballer of the world....
Currently it is Ronaldinho (with Henry right up there), and I consider Zidane as the previous, before those two. So all you rowdy English fans can hate my answers, and it doesn't change the fact that you couldn't produce any of those kind of player.
Wait until Rooney is as good as Scheva or Drogba, then we can start talking about how "good" he is.

every one is talented in his own way...some might be talented in scoring..some in saving goals..some in defensive and some in midfielders
and something else you cant know the best footballer ever because you cant compare people from diff. eras because there are improvment in football from year to year
