radar in atlanta?

I live in atlanta, ga and was looking to purchase a radar/laser detector. does anyone know what type of signals are used by police here?

Having driven a fair number of miles in the Atlanta area, I've picked up virtually all radar and laser signals in the metro Atlanta area.. X, K, KA and lidar.

The laser seems to be pretty rare so far and a detector is pretty useless other than to let you know that you've just been caught. Most detectors should pick all radar signals anyway though some are clearly better than others. If you want the best, go with a Valentine. They're expensive but worth it.
