Okay, how many of you have been in the position where a new hire is brown nosing and you know that she can possibly be a threat at work? But, she looks sooo very sweet and as a woman I know damn well what's she is up to. What did you do?

Be nice to her, but watch your back! Not much else you can do, really. Maybe she'll trip on her own slipperiness someday.

Go on your own way and do the best you can to shine. Many times brown-nosing new employees manage to destroy themselves quickly. At some point, she'll show her true colors. Be well away from her when she does. Also, be pleasant to her, but distant. Think about making yourself look good. Don't worry about her!

Set her up for a fall. Got one of the "office studs" to cozy up then drop her like a bad habit. She got real quiet at work after that.

Just do your work to the best of your ability and focus on the fact that you are at work to work not to worry about any one else.

Kept as far away as I could, and watched what I said in front of them. There is one in every business and they pi-- me off. Be careful with people like this.
