Definitely "The Year of Magical Thinking" by Joan Didion has been the best book I've read this year. It really made me stop and think about what I have and how to appreciate it all. I thought about it for months after reading it.

North West Indian Art
Well I didn't really read it much, but the pictures of the art are so awesome and its wierd because I found it in someones recycling bin while on my nightly run and I had a lot of interest in the north west lately.
