How should I go about this? Sense there is a lot of competition.

If you want to model, great, because it seems like your family will help you. Don't be afraid of competition. It will only make you better.
If you don't want to, don't. Life's too short to miss the opportunities that you really wanted to take.

Well if you like competition and want to be a model then i'd say go for it.
It sounds like it would be pretty fun.

that's sooo awesome! i wanted to model, and my fam was against it. try out with small local comptetions, or magazine competitions. i know for girls there's a lot of stuff out there, but not sure on the specifics for guys.

I think the real question is: "Do YOU want to model?" You should start and assume a job by appreciation, not obligation.

It should be YOU that wants to model not what your family wants you to do. You gotta have the passion yourself to succeed in the business.
