right click an empty part of toolbar and select standard buttons

You have to allign ure mouse so u can expand ure tool bar...I often re-arrange my toolbar accidentally by clicking too fast up there when I'm not paying attention. Just make sure the arrows are up and down and hole the left click on the mouse while you pull down the toolbar it should come back...

right click on your tool bar and select customize and you back button should be on in the list of buttons you can add

Go to - View - Toolbars - Standard buttons. Make sure these are turned on.
Otherwise got to View - Toolbars - Customise and put it back that way.

you can either do all of that or just forget the damn button and just hit backspace to go to the previous page!.

go to views. then toolbars. then customize. you can add or delete whatever buttons you would like.
