t=¼sqrt(1400) or t=1/(4*sqrt(1400))?
I am trying to figure out the time required for an object to fall to the ground from a building 1400ft high.

x=(1/2)*at^2
2x=at^2
t=sqrt[2x/a]

need to know "a" (for gravity) in ft/sec^2
