Or it could be, Mega staying in bed and doing naff all but surfing the net and playing pocket billards man.

But i wouldn't bet any of my pogs on it.

I think it's quite engaging so far, I love that captain america has been turned on by his own country, it just makes for great story telling. I'm wondering if speedball is actually going to make it out alive. The xmen side to civil war hasn't been to good but the new avengers and runaways storylines are great. I havent had enough money for all the different books so any others i dont know.

Oh by the way i think the crap answers ppl give about comics fans (or fan questions) not having a life just because they read questions or ask these types of questions are really annoying and rude. I myself have been an obsessive fan of comics and the xmen for over ten years and im married and before that had an ample social life out of comics reading.

I'm pished that tony conned peter onto the registration side, other than that, it's been a great and intense story thus far, but I really hope they don't jack around with too many of the things I care about in marvel. Also I like Cap fighting for liberty against the government and hope for more of that. Like a street level vigilante/activist, that's todays america and the captain should represent that. I don't know who's going to bite it in #4.

As for my opinion, what a great idea. I think that the Stamford massacre and the civil war were orchestrated by the government. I think that they supplied Nitro with MGH and let him escape from the raft, to cause such havoc. His causing the stamford massacre was just a bonus. They wanted to turn public opinion against the Marvels so that they could control them better. I dunno what else to say, but contact me if anyone wants to throw ideas about.

I'm really enjoying it. It's stirring up the waters of controversy and making things interesting. You've got heroes looking within themselves and finding what they believe is morally right in a very grey area. It's easy for them to choose to fight Dr. Doom (or whoever) when they are killing people or threatening to take over the world. It's not so obvious or easy to choose when it's a law that you don't agree with and that takes away your freedoms.

I will agree that Tony sucks for convincing Peter to fall on the side of registration. I think that act is out of character for Peter and that normally he would never have done it. Now that he has though I hope that they don't have some "world mind erasing" event to undo it. Folks know, let them keep knowing.

Civil War is excellent, tearing most of the marvel universe straight down the middle and pitting them against one another, superb, I think it will either be Hercules or Goliath who gets killed, my money's on the latter.
Can't wait for next year's World War Hulk event either.

Its just a last gasp at trying to boost sales, pulps are just not environmentally sensible anymore, they should just go totally on line and have subscribers like everyone else.

like all comics you want good guys to be good and the bad guy to be bad and them fighting each other and not good vs good vs bad. But at least you get to see that people on the same side have different thoughts and ideas.
