Art's and Crafts are always a great idea, plus time consuming so you can get a few househlod chores done while they keep busy.
I'm not talking about making a hand print turkey either. Go to your nearest art supplies store and bring them along, I can guarantee they find stuff they like there!

for a 6 year old i think that u should buy him a toy that he likes or if he watches tv buy him a movie....for a 10 year old i think u should buy him a game or x box- play station 2 - or games for him
