St. Louis isn't that undesirable by employing the way... I stay round that section. yet... contained in the Collinsville section (on the Illinois side of the river) there is an staggering steak position referred to as Porter's. Umm... J. dollar's is sturdy too. it really is in St. Louis. also, The Melting Pot. there are quite some sturdy places. Do you've an leisure e book? in case you do, use your account variety to look up some sturdy places on the internet and get some coupons. have a sturdy time!

It depends on what type of food you are looking for. There are sooo many good restaurants around here. A good one I've FINALLY been to is The Old Spaghetti Factory down on Laclede's Landing. I looooved it! A good thing to try is to use that Citysearch because you can pick a category & it'll list the voted top 10 restaurants, etc. for each category. It doesn't limit to just St. Louis itself either, it includes the surrounding area. Here's the website...and specifically for here in the STL region:

Yemanja Brasil, Fraziers Brown Bag, Modesto on the Hill (and many others on the Hill), Pestalozzi Place (off Grand) These three are a little off the beaten path but worth it.
Copia on Washington Avenue (downtown), Lucas Park Grille (downtown), Cafe Balabans (CWE)

Copia is good (and quite convenient since I live in the same building hehe), mosaic I heard isnt that great but I havent actually eaten anything there yet. Lucas Park is okay, but they seem to try too hard to be "different".
Other than that, the Hill has some good Italian, Wasabi has great sushi, Sen is good for Thai, and there is a great Indian place in the Loop (forgot the name).

Depends on what kind of food you want.
There are lots of great Italian restaurants in the Hill, thats just south of I-44 at Hampton. Try Zia's. But just about ANY restaurant in that area will be good.
Or if you are in south county, theres a great sushi place on South Lindberg called Tokyo Sushi, or right across the street is Helen Fitzgeralds, they have great Irish food, fish, and wings.

You can look up resturants by cusine, area, or price range. This should be a good start. I liked Norton Cafe in Soulard. Its a cajun resturant. The patio is nice if you can get there during good weather.

Chinese Buffetts, The Hill has great italian food. Clayton has some good restraunts. It all depends on what kind of food you are looking for. BBQ none. Pizza would be CiCi's. Home Town Buffett is good.
