my gauges on my speedometer went out and when I pulled one from the junk yard and replaced it, the theft system light is blinking on the speedometer, and the car will not start. I put the old one back in and it starts just fine. Anyone got a clue on how to dissable or remedy this security feature?

i know but your tale sounds too fishy for me to share with you. I think you ought to go to a repair shop and go on record (and pay) for them to disable the security system on "your" car. You won't know how afterwards, of course, but your problem will be solved.

Aiding and abetting crime isn't my forte.
