I want to make photo decorations for my Christmas tree. Photo material sheets are very expensive. I know there is a way to copy directly onto material without using these sheets, but I forgot how to do it. Any suggestios?

You can buy iron-on transfer sheets to print on. I've done this before with other projects and the results are great. It doesn't cost anymore than buying high-quality paper. Wal-mart's the cheapest place to find it!

if you are wanting to transfer onto Fabric.....DYLON Image Maker can be bought from good Craft Suppliers like Hobbycraft.....You copy your picture, then Brush the image maker onto the photocopy of your picture, and place face down onto the fabric. When its dry, dampen it again with a wet sponge and rub away the photocopy paper, once the picture is clean of any residue paper, apply the image maker to seal the image.

The Image Maker is like a PVA consistency and you just brush it on.

Hope you can find a supplier and its what you were looking for.
